Looks like we made it off the bus and found our hotel!
The flight over went smoothly. Highlights include the sick elderly asian women sitting next to us, streaky bacon, and flying over that Russian city that's on the Pandemic board but I can never pronounce. We had no problems at the airport either. We found the way into the country, found our bags, found our bus and even found our hotel!
Our hotel is excellent. The air conditioning is so strong that you have to put on several layer of clothing whenever you come in. Which is, I guess, still better than the 30oC it is outside. The beds are a little on the hard side though; to the point where you risk personal injury if you forget and jump into them. Although we did manage to immediately pass out for several hours as soon as we got in.
We woke up around noon, decided Hong Kong had more to offer than concrete beds in a frigid hotel room and set out into the heat. It took a little under 5 minutes for someone to come up to us and ask us if we were lots; which, obviously, we were. With a little help we made it onto the subway, onto Hong Kong Island and to the top of Victoria Peak. Being tourist central for Hong Kong, Victoria Peak offers amazing views of the city, long lines, and expensive food.
We headed back to the hotel around 7:00, picked up some Chinese food for dinner (of course here, they just call it food) and played a few games of Hello Kitty Uno before bed.
